The Government Contracting Committee is responsible for monitoring issues and trends in the government contracting arena and providing a forum for GWSCPA members in this industry for education and networking. The committee hosts technical sessions every other month on issues of interest to government contractors and the CPAs that work with them. Each bi-monthly meeting features a guest speaker and one hour of qualifying continuing professional education (CPE) on a relevant topic to committee members and their clients/organizations. The group meets occasionally between CPE sessions in order to plan for future events.
